The Home of Managed Risk Attitude

This site is a focus for the work being done by David Hillson and Ruth Murray-Webster on Understanding and Managing Risk Attitude.

We aim to help people to understand their attitudes to risky situations and learn how to change those attitudes that do not support objectives.

David Hillson and Ruth Murray-Webster have written two ground-breaking books on Risk Attitude, addressing both individuals and groups. Understanding and Managing Risk Attitude presents the theory of risk attitudes in a practical way, and uses applied emotional literacy to offer a framework for managing risk attitudes proactively. Managing Group Risk Attitude builds on this and new research to explore factors influencing group decision-making, and develops a new model for ensuring good decisions.

We also offer a range of training and consultancy interventions that may be of interest. Find out more about those by clicking here.

Join us in our joint fascination in understanding uncertainty and understanding people and how the two combine.
